WaterskiZone is the answer! |
Based in Cape Town, South Africa,
we offer professional instruction to all levels
of skiers, ranging from beginners to advanced.
WaterskiZone
is run by experienced tournament waterskiers
who offer water skiing, barefoot skiing, wakeboarding
and kneeboarding. You are welcome to use your
own equipment, however, waterskies, wakeboards,
life jackets and wetsuits will be supplied
at no additional cost.
Venue
Our base at Rietvlei in Table View is situated
25km from Cape Town city centre.
With Table Mountain as a backdrop, it would
be difficult to find a more beautiful setting.
Packages
Beginners and Social
Skiers
Saturday and Sunday between 9:00 and 17:00.
This package provides you with a simple fun
way to waterski. All you need to bring with
is your swimsuit, towel and enthusiasm! We
supply all the equipment required to have
you skimming the water in no time. Unfortunately
we cannot offer tube riding and parasailing
at this venue
We meet at Rietvlei, and after a short safety
briefing the fun begins. For the first time
skier we will proceed with some off water
instruction to prepare you for what you can
expect on the water. We then coach you on
the ski boom. This is a bar that extends out
next to the boat to help you gain confidence.
Once you've mastered the boom, you can progress
onto the ski rope.
For the more advanced skier, this venue has
a slalom course.
Catering is not included but you are welcome
to bring your own refreshments.
Instructor
Only
With this option you supply the boat,
fuel and equipment. We supply experienced
instructors to teach you to waterski or improve
your technique. For the new boat owner, our
instructors will make use of their SAMSA approved
qualification and teach you the basics of
driving and towing a skier safely.
Please
ensure that you have all the required safety
equipment and a yellow flag if you intend
skiing.

R5 per person / R2 per child
Skiing Cost (1 hour

R600 per hour
R300 for additional 30 minutes
R200 for additional 15 minutes
